The Raven RP89 is a rigid and flexible co-polymer weather and energy seal that is designed for use in hollow channel aluminium door suites. It can be concealed in the bottom of aluminium butt hinged doors or the bottom and head of pivot doors, and its unique design accommodates OEM and retrofit applications.
The RP89 has a minimum gap of 6mm and a maximum gap of 9mm. It is fixed with a snap fit design with end support lugs and screws supplied. The seal is made of black rigid and grey flexible UV stabilised co-polymer.
The RP89 is approved to Energy NCC Pt. 3.12.3.3 & J3.4. It has been tested to over 500,000 operating cycles without failure, and it is insect and vermin resistant to AS4674, 2.1.5(iv), 2.1.7.
